Many health-behaviors that contribute to the health of a population are shaped in early adulthood. Transitioning from student-to-work life might have a strong impact on the behavioral trajectories. Health Insights Singapore (hiSG) is a pilot longitudinal cohort study conducted by Health Promotion Board. It seeks to leverage technology (e.g. smart wearable device) to delve into the health practices and lifestyles of Singapore residents. In collaboration with HPB, we set up a dedicated cohort of NUS students 6-18 months prior to their graduation, known as health@NUS. In this cohort, we aim to investigate body-weight, well-being and behavioural trajectories, as well as their underlying individual, social, and environmental determinants from University to early working life. This student cohort will leverage on the hiSG technology platform to collect objective and self-reported data on lifestyle, behaviours and mood over a 2-year study period.

ZEN is the universal user interface you will see on every imaging system from ZEISS. For simple and routine works, ZEN leads you straight to result. For complex research experiments, ZEN offers the flexibility to design multi-dimensional workflows the way you wanted.
n this article, we present FactoMineR an R package dedicated to multivariate data analysis. The main features of this package is the possibility to take into account different types of variables (quantitative or categorical), different types of structure on the data (a partition on the variables, a hierarchy on the variables, a partition on the individuals) and finally supplementary information (supplementary individuals and variables). Moreover, the dimensions issued from the different exploratory data analyses can be automatically described by quantitative and/or categorical variables. Numerous graphics are also available with various options. Finally, a graphical user interface is implemented within the Rcmdr environment in order to propose an user friendly package.
In addition to being rich in protein, peptides, and amino acids, yeast peptone is also rich in nucleotides, B vitamins, and biotin, which can provide comprehensive and balanced nutrition to the bacteria. Used in combination with yeast extract and other culture media components, it can promote the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and improve production efficiency.
ACTH ELISA kit to measure ACTH levels in human, mouse and rat plasma samples. ACTH (Adrenocorticotropic hormone) or corticotropin is a 39-amino acid hormone (MW=4500) secreted by the pituitary to regulate the production of steroid hormones by the adrenal cortex. ACTH secretion from the anterior pituitary is controlled by both a classical negative feedback control mechanism and CNS-stress mediated control system. Various types of stress or pain perceived in higher levels of the brain modulate secretion of the hypothalamic neurosecretory hormone, corticotropin releasing hormone (CRH), a 41-amino acid peptide. CRH stimulates pituitary ACTH secretion. The second peptide that modulates ACTH secretion is vasopressin (AVP). AVP secretion is also stimulated by stress and acts synergistically with CRH to increase ACTH secretion in the pituitary portal circulation. ACTH increases the synthesis and release of all adrenal steroids, aldosterone, cortisol and adrenal androgens. It is the principal modulator of cortisol, the most important glucocorticoid in man. As the cortisol level in blood increases, release of ACTH is inhibited directly at the pituitary level. Through this same mechanism, decreasing cortisol levels lead to elevated ACTH levels. Biologically active ACTH results from enzymatic cleavage of a large precursor molecule, pro-opiomelanocortin (POMC). This molecule contains within its structure the amino acid sequences of ACTH, Pro-ACTH, -melanocyte stimulating hormone, lipotropin, as well as endorphin and the enkephalins. Because the reaction in immunoassays is determined by antigenic structure, not biological function, the usual ACTH RIA reacts with POMC, Pro-ACTH, ACTH and some fragments of the ACTH. ACTH may also be referred to by the following terms: ACTH ELISA kit, Adrenocorticotropic Hormone ELISA kit, Adrenocorticotropin ELISA kit, Alpha-Melanocyte-Stimulating Hormone ELISA kit, Alpha-MSH ELISA kit, Beta-Endorphin ELISA kit, Beta-LPH ELISA kit, Beta-Melanocyte-Stimulating Hormone ELISA kit, Beta-MSH ELISA kit, CLIP ELISA kit, Corticotropin-like Intermediary Peptide ELISA kit, Corticotropin-Lipotropin ELISA kit, Corticotropin-Lipotropin ELISA kit, Gamma-LPH ELISA kit, Gamma-MSH ELISA kit, Lipotropin Beta ELISA kit, Lipotropin Gamma ELISA kit, LPH ELISA kit, Melanotropin Alpha ELISA kit, Melanotropin Beta ELISA kit, Melanotropin Gamma ELISA kit, Met-Enkephalin ELISA kit, MSH ELISA kit, NPP ELISA kit, POC ELISA kit, Pro-ACTH-endorphin ELISA kit, Pro-OpioMelanocortin ELISA kit, ProopioMelanocortin ELISA kit, ProopioMelanocortin PreProProtein ELISA kit
Machine Learning Cumulative Performance Score (MLcps), a novel evaluation metric for classification problems. MLcps integrates several pre-computed evaluation metrics into a unified score, enabling a comprehensive assessment of the trained model's strengths and weaknesses. We tested MLcps on four publicly available datasets, and the results demonstrate that MLcps provides a holistic evaluation of the model's robustness, ensuring a thorough understanding of its overall performance.
Four datasets cover two types of cell structures, tubulin filaments and vesicle structures. These datasets are structured so that the research community can easily use them for research on different image restoration tasks. The link provided contains the comprehensive details of the datasets.
